Putter Builds
Most putters sold off a rack come in one length. Most golfers don't set up the same way over the ball, which is the mismatch we're actually solving for.
We Look at Your Stance Before Touching a Ruler
Eye position over the ball, how far your arms hang, whether you tend to stand tall or crouch — all of it shapes what putter length actually suits you, and none of it shows up on a standard 34-inch shelf model. We watch your setup and your stroke arc first.
Face balance gets chosen to match — a face-balanced head tends to suit a straighter back-and-through stroke, while a toe-hang design works better with more natural rotation.
What an Inch and a Half Actually Changes
Posture at Address
Too long and you'll stand taller than natural; too short and you'll hunch. Either forces a compensation somewhere in the stroke.
Head Weight and Tempo
A heavier head can smooth out a quick, jabby stroke; a lighter one suits a longer, flowing one. We test rather than assume.
Lie Angle at Setup
Toe-up or toe-down at address throws off aim before the stroke even starts — an easy fix once it's actually identified.
See What Your Stroke Actually Needs
A putter fitting runs forty-five to sixty minutes, starting with your stance before any club changes hands.
