Clubs Built on the Bench, Not Pulled Off a Rack

Greenside Custom Golf measures your swing, bends your lie and loft on our own press, and assembles the finished set in the same room — nothing is shipped out to a third-party shop halfway through the order. What leaves the bench is what you swing.

Why It's Different

What Changes When One Bench Does the Whole Job

Most shops measure you, then send the actual bending and assembly to a separate facility. Ours doesn't. The same builder who reads your swingweight numbers is the one holding the bending press twenty minutes later.

01 / Measure

Swingweight & Lie, Logged First

Every build starts on the swingweight scale and lie board, not with a catalog page — the numbers dictate the parts list, not the other way around.

02 / Bend

Loft and Lie, Set by Hand

Our bending press adjusts each head to your exact spec in half-degree steps, checked against the lie board after every pass.

03 / Finish

Paint-Fill and Stamping On Site

Numbering, paint-fill, and any custom stamping happen at the same bench — nothing rides out the door to a separate finishing shop.

Why It Matters

Matched Swingweight Isn't a Marketing Line Here

The numbers above track how tightly a finished eight-iron set holds its swingweight target depending on where it was built. A mail-order "custom" set is usually assembled from bulk-toleranced parts; ours gets weighed and adjusted club by club until every number in the set actually agrees.

One Bench, Every Club You Carry

Every build starts on the same swingweight scale and lie board, whether it's a single regrind or a full fourteen-club rebuild.

Head, shaft, and swingweight matched together and set on the bending press once the numbers are locked in.

Hybrid

Hybrid Builds

Carry gaps charted first, so a hybrid only gets built if it's actually filling a hole in your set.

Iron

Iron Builds

Full-set lie and length correction handled club by club on the same bending press and lie board.

Iron build details →
Wedge

Wedge Builds

Bounce and grind selected against your usual turf firmness, then loft-gapped against the rest of the set.

Putter

Putter Builds

Length, lie, and head weight matched to your stroke arc on the lie board before final assembly.

The Visit

Four Stops Between the Door and the Build Ticket

Measure

Swingweight, lie angle, and length are logged against your current clubs before anything new gets discussed.

Select

Heads and shafts from the parts wall get matched against your numbers, not a sales quota.

Bend & Build

Loft, lie, and length get set on the press, then the club is assembled at the same bench.

Verify & Hand Off

Every finished club is checked against the original build ticket before it goes home with you.

What Golfers Say After a Build

★★★★★

Every other "custom" set I'd owned still felt like it came out of a box. This one actually feels like it was built for my swing, because it was.

★★★★★

I liked watching the lie bend happen in front of me instead of dropping off an order and waiting three weeks to find out what showed up.

DO

★★★★★

Didn't expect the swingweight matching to make such a noticeable difference across the set, but it genuinely feels like one club instead of eight different ones.
