Brought in a set of irons my dad had regripped somewhere else years back and asked Marcus to just look them over. Turned into a two-hour conversation about why my lie angle was wrong the whole time. Glad I stopped in.
Picked out a shaft I was dead set on and Sofia talked me out of it once she saw my swingweight numbers. Annoyed at the time, glad now — the one she suggested instead is a much better match.
Wasn't expecting the whole set to arrive weighing out identically on their scale. My old irons had all drifted apart from each other over the years and I never noticed.
Went in for a putter and left an hour later having learned my old one was two inches too long the entire time I owned it. Explains a lot honestly.
Watched Renata stamp my initials into a wedge sole and it's silly how much that mattered to me. Kids gave me grief for getting excited about it.
Told them straight up I probably needed a lesson more than new clubs and they agreed with me instead of just taking my money. Coming back once I've actually fixed my swing.
